    Hi everyone! My name is Ana Lucía Pavón (she/her), and I’m the President of the St. Thomas University Students’ Union. I’m originally from Tegucigalpa, Honduras, and I’m heading into my fourth year at STU, where I’m doing an Honours in Criminology with a minor in Philosophy. I’ve been involved in student government since my very first year, and I’m really excited to work with other amazing student leaders!

    President & CEO, Mount Allison Students Union (MASU)

    Hey! My Name is Wilson Paluch and I am the President & CEO of the Mount Allsion Students' Union (MASU). I'm from Truro, Nova Scotia but before that came from Tarnobrzeg, Poland. I'm headed into my fourth and final year at Mount Allison University, hoping to obtain a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in History and English. I am also a proud varsity athlete at Mount Allison and have been heavily involved on campus and in the community since arriving in Sackville, NB in 2022. I'm so excited to work with student leaders and other amazing leaders from all across the country, and will always do my best to better the student experience wherever I can! 

  • Samuel Saki-Hyde Jnr

    President & CEO, UNB Students’ Representative Council (UNBSRC)

    Samuel Sakyi-Hyde Jnr. is the current President of the UNB-SRC for the 2025/2026 academic year. He is a fourth-year Biomedical Science student in the Bachelor of Health Program at UNBSJ with ambitions in Project Management and healthcare innovation.  His strong passion for leadership and student government over the years has been a vivid thorough line in his university journey, shaping both his academic and extracurricular pursuits. Born and raised in Accra, Ghana, Sam brings a holistic perspective, deep-rooted in a sense of community, and an unwavering commitment to building meaningful change wherever he finds himself.

    As the President of the UNB-SRC, Sam is highly passionate about collaborative advocacy and ensuring students' voices play a pivotal role in the decision-making processes that govern them. He is devoted to expanding opportunities available to students and ensuring that Post-Secondary Education across the province and the country is a worthwhile experience for all.

    Hi everyone! My name is Camila Baquerizo (she/her), and I’m the Vice President Education of the St. Thomas University Students’ Union. I’m originally from Guayaquil, Ecuador, and I’m going into my fourth year at STU, where I’m completing an Honours in Human Rights with a double major in Political Science and International Relations, and a minor in Economics. I’ve been involved with STUSU and student advocacy throughout my time at STU, and I’m excited to continue that work this year by making sure your academic voice is heard and supported!

    Hi everyone! My name is Oliver VanBuskirk (he/him), and I’m the Vice-President, External Affairs with the Mount Allison Students’ Union for the 2025–2026 school year. I’m currently working toward a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology with a minor in Drama Studies. I’m really passionate about student advocacy, and I love being in a role where I can help reduce barriers to education and find real solutions for students. I’m especially excited to collaborate with the NBSA this year and represent post-secondary students across New Brunswick!
